Since the creation of the United Arab Emirates in 1971, addressing global health challenges, especially for those less fortunate, has been a national priority.
Held with and for the world, Future Health is an Abu Dhabi-led initiative and a platform for open, inclusive exchange and joint action. It is a community without borders that seeks to redefine the future of health and well-being.
Future Health was born as a result of two editions of the Abu Dhabi Global Health Week, which resulted in 51 agreements to address global health priorities over the past two years.
Future Health expands beyond Abu Dhabi’s annual flagship event into a year-round platform that supports a series of initiatives through funding, partnerships and coalition-building and innovation acceleration. It focuses on four key impact areas that guide our global health initiatives, reflecting our commitment to sustainable impact, collaborative partnerships, and adaptive strategies for a healthier, more equitable future for all.
